Let’s Break the Cocoon!

Hello friends, we’re all cautiously progressing towards a vaccinated and more safer world. Hope we can all be successfully avert the further onslaught of the merciless enemy. We shouldn’t in any way, drop our guards, now that the infections are ebbing. Masking, social distancing and hand sanitzing must become a part of our daily lives for a year or so to exorcise the disease completely. As we are slowly gearing up for the normalcy, we must adhere to these basic rules and discipline in our day to day activities.

Friends I agree that anxiety and panic has touched our lives in one way or the other and our nerves have become acutely fragile. But we have to resolutely extricate ourselves from the morass. I would like to share some suggestions

  1. First we have to convince ourselves that we’re well into the path to recovery. Some days we may feel low, yet we have to give ourselves a good shake, and break away the mould of dread and apprehensions. Just like a baby butterfly flutter itself to break the cocoon and fly out as a liberated and happy being.
  2. The after effect of the devastating situation we all went through is so extensive that we have almost forgotten how to be happy and carefree again. It happens with me too, with an arduous effort, when I condition myself to relax and breathe free, some kind of fear and doubt starts to rear it’s ugly head and overwhelm me. It can’t be allowed to go on any further. The deep breathing exercise and meditation are the panacea to boost our flagging morals. I can vouche for it’s efficacy through my own experience.
  3. As I am a believer, chanting the hymns or slokas like ‘Mahamritunjaya Jap’ or ‘Surya mantra’ or ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ provides me immense peace and strength. Whichever faith you happen to follow, try to establish a link with the God, the Almighty and see how it works wonders with our self confidence.

Friends, by going through your blogs, I felt the prevalent sense of uncertainty of the circumstances and it pains me a lot. I fervently crave for the good and happy days for all.

We have to redeem our inner zeal and zest for life and start living again as we used to do in pre pandemic days. But I never mean that we become careless and throw away the safety protocols to winds, yet, learn to banish fear and anxiety from our lives as much as we could. We have to start living all over again.

Wish you all a happy, peaceful and healthy life . May God keep us all safe and hearty!!

Adieu for now.
