Friends, I greet you all with the above spring blooms. I wish these happy flowers be the harbinger of hope, joy and good health for all of us in the coming days. All the fears, apprehensions and doubts from our minds must be replaced by cheerful, positive and sanguine thoughts. Most of our souls have been frazzled in the process of adjusting ourselves to the unexpected and uncalled for events, unfolding in the wake of the Covid pandemic. Still wary to hope that we are out of its clutches for good.

But we humans are known for our undaunted spirit and resilience while coping with adversities. This time also we’ll come out winners. Let’s have that conviction and self-confidence in ourselves and get on with our lives with utmost circumspection and care.

I am going to relate to you a real-life story of hope, published in The Times of India, the esteemed newspaper. It will warm your heart as it did mine. It is about the exemplary love and bonding of three siblings, who hail from the North East state of India, Mizoram.
The eldest brother, Lalrinngheta,44 years old, an employee with the Mizoram government, was staring a certain death when he was diagnosed with end stage kidney failure and advanced cirrhosis of liver. The heartening part of the story is, his sister, Lalrinawmi, age 42 and brother Lalrinpuia, age 40, both school teachers, came to his rescue. They immediately agreed to donate a part of their liver and a kidney respectively to save their respected brother.
Fortunately, their organ matched with the ailing one. In eastern India’s first simultaneous transplant surgeries on the same recipient, was successfully performed in a reputed hospital of Kolkata, RN Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences. The best part is that post-operation all of them are doing well and were discharged from the hospital. The eldest one got a new lease of life, solely due to the sacrifice made by his younger brother and sister.

The example of their selfless love for each other is more than worthy of mention. The younger sister and brother were so prompt with their life-saving gesture that they didn’t think twice before offering a part of their body for the survival of their eldest brother. Both affirmed afterwards that their eldest brother protected and raised them as a father figure after the loss of their father, at a tender age. It was time to give back the love they have been showered with so far.
At the hour of crisis, they stood like rocks to defend each other and emerged winners. If there is unity and support any war can be fought convincingly than waging a lonely one. Being there for each really matters.
Thanks a lot for stopping by. Wish you all health and happiness.
Adieu for now.

Yes, true. Love conquers all. I remembered the time when I was sending my siblings to school. It was the hardest time for the family as my father got sick and can’t provide for us all. This made us closer than ever. When we look back at the past, they’re grateful for all the sacrifices we made. They won’t forget. And I would always do what I did before. It’s hard but its worth it.

I shared the story, with the intention of letting people know about the heartwarming story of the siblings. Apart from national and international news, all the news papers give preference to the region they are published from. That’s why you have missed it.
Thanks lot for a stopping by and reading the post.
